Q: Are guests invited to attend, and if so how much is the fee?
A: Guests are encouraged to attend our luncheons. We do appreciate an RSVP to be certain we order enough lunches. Guest meals are $35 each and should be registered when the member registers on line. Go to our home page and click on the Register Now button to register yourself and your guests. If your guest is qualified and seriously considering membership in SME-GBR, please contact Nancy Carter at smesec@eatel.net to arrange for a complimentary one-time attendance for your guest.
A: Meetings are held from 11:30 until 1:00 every third Thursday of the month generally. We also host an evening Marketer of the Year Banquet and Seasonal Socials. For the latest information about upcoming meetings, please go to the Upcoming Events section on the Home page.
A: That depends. If you paid for your membership yourself and moved laterally or upward in your career, your membership will travel with you. If the company pays for your membership, if should technically stay with them. The best policy is to discuss this with your employer.
A: Getting involved on a committee, sitting with people you do not know at our luncheons, staying up on activities related to SME-GBR are all ways to get the most out of your membership.
