Progress Challenge:  Keys to Becoming a Business Attraction Magnet (BAM!)

By Dean Lindsay

The Progress Challenge is just that, a challenge - a challenge to progress, a challenge to work and win in this complicated, stress-encouraging, wonderful world of continual, radical change. Meeting The Progress Challenge:
*  Attracts New Business and Generates Quality Referrals
*  Establishes and Cements Customer Loyalty
*  Leads to Career Development and Life Balance
*  Creates Better leaders, Better Team Members, Better Human Beings.
There is a powerful and important connection between sales success, solid leadership, personal motivation, and customer loyalty. All are achieved by effectively positioning ideas, recommendations, solutions, products, services - even ourselves - as progress in the minds of those we wish to inspire to action. Dean's talk offers a fresh and powerful blueprint for meeting this Progress Challenge.  However, simply learning how to enhance our opportunities is NOT the goal.  The goal is to actually enhance our opportunities in our life and work. Learning should not lead to simply knowing. Learning should lead to action.  Be a BAM... Be Progress.

It is my honor to be SME's president for this year.  I cannot begin this year without first thanking my predecessor, Michell Rabalais. Michell did an outstanding job as president delivering nothing but quality programming and great social networking opportunities.  She, along with a marvelous board of directors, have left our new board with a strong, vital organization ready to continue delivering the same high level of information sharing throughout the year.

In addition to our 2 highly revered honors banquets, Marketer of the Year and Distinctive Sales Awards, we host 8 monthly luncheons filled with leading edge sales and marketing information and effective networking opportunities.  We also host a few social events in our year that have become member favorites.

Throughout the year, I invite you to contact me or Nancy Carter, our Executive Director, any time should you have a question.

I would also like to recognize and thank our sponsors who are listed at the bottom of this website.  It is through their belief in that we are able to continually deliver the high quality of material we bring to you every month.

My dynamic Board and I are looking forward to a great year!
