This is my last message as President of SME-GBR. I want to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to serve as President. It was a rewarding experience.
I would like to thank Board members Michell Rabalais, Kasey Perry, Laura Thomas, Jason Landry, Allison Crump, Amber Martin and Brian Ainsworth for their tireless suport of our organization. Michell will be coming in as President in the new fiscal year – we are very fortunate to have such an organized, proactive and dedicated leader to carry us forward. I would like to especially thank Nancy Carter for her dedication. Her talent as an event coordinator and her creativity in design added to each of our events. The time she spent dealing with the administration, bookkeeping, IRS and CPA allowed the board to concentrate on the association knowing that the details were covered.
Immediate Past President Jason Landry will be coming off of the Board. His incredible work as President enabled SME to regain strength and re-establish exceptional goals and objectives.
This year, as President, I was able to be a part of an amazing, thriving organization which gave more to our membership than ever before. We plan to continue to bring you nationally renowned speakers such as Jack Daly and partner with business leaders such as Business Report to maximize our ability to deliver quality programming to YOU. And, every month, we pledge to continue to bring you quality membership luncheons that provide education, information, networking and all-around growth for the sales and marketing professions.
